Bob is awesome. It was super dusty but that wasn't their fault.

5 star ratingWe had a great time doing their polar bear watching tour. We flew up to Barter Island on the arctic ocean. We saw over twenty polar bears of all different sizes, some of them very close. Polar bears were everywhere because the natives had pulled in a bowhead whale. It was really incredible.
Tim was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Once we were there he basically took us wherever we wanted any time of day. He even woke up late at night to check if there were northern lights for us.
I'd recommend this tour to anyone looking for an adventurous trip.

4 star ratingWow!! This ATV tour is super fun!

I went on this tour last summer with the bf, my sister and her husband and we had a great time. Not one of us had gone ATVing before, but by the time we were done we were ready to do it again. We went on the 3 hour Girdwood tour, our guide was pretty cool, I feel bad that I don't remember his name, but he was knowledgeable and easy going.

We each had our own ATV and the first 20mins were spent learning the basics: how to change gears, break, turn etc. The trail was great: a good combination of long smooth stretches, almost vertical uphill climbs that you feel like your going to flip backwards, huge puddles, mud, rocks, twists and turns, and even narrow paths on the edge of a cliff. About halfway through the tour we took a hike to one of the waterfalls and stopped for a snack, which was provided, bonus! At that point we were feeling pretty confident in our new found ATVing skills so we pretty much floored it all the way back to the parking lot.

If you're thinking about going on a tour... go a head and book it! Trust me, it's worth every penny and more!! Next time I visit Alaska, I'm definitely doing another tour.

We spent a week driving from Denali to Seward and every where in between and we were hard pressed to find an afternoon adventure more fun than this one! Our guide, Tim (who is also the owner), was extremely knowledgeable of the area, and took us to secluded locations away from public traffic to see plenty of bears, creeks filled with salmon, and a beautiful waterfall. Everything about this trip was so much fun. Hope you enjoy it like we did!

5 star ratingWonderful ATV Adventure We had a wonderful time on this tour. It was my first time on an ATV so I was a little nervous. Our Guide Bob showed me how to use the ATV and we had did a test drive around the parking lot. He had me and two other people who were first time riders up front behind him. The ride was fun! Bumpy, muddy, and wet. We were able to get up to speeds up to 20mph on the trail. The tour included a short hike to a waterfall that was beautiful. We also got a great view of turnagain arm.

Bob did a great job of leading the tour and taking pictures and video of us. He searched the hills on his binoculars looking for bears. We didn't see any, but we saw mountain goats and salmon.
Advice- bring dry socks and new shoes. Our feet got wet, like soaked. I wore gloves for better gripping. Be on time. The email states you don't need to show up before 2pm, we ended being like 5 minutes late and everyone was already to go. So just a heads up!

5 star ratingGreat fun! My husband and I booked an ATV tour through the Chugach State Park during our visit to Girdwood. Bob was our guide and did a marvelous job! Bob is extremely knowledgeable about the area and goes out of his way to ensure a good time. He is very personable and knows where to find the bears! We saw two black bear and one Grizzly down by the river. Bob will also ensure you capture just the right photo for the memory book!
