Best. Experience. Ever!!!!!! My husband and I did the 3 hour tour on our last day with tour guide Bob and let’s just say this ended our trip with a bang!! It was one of the most fun things I’ve ever done!!! Bob is very skilled and has been doing it for many many years and we felt safe in the middle of the mountains of Alaska. We had a beautiful hike, amazing pictures, a thrilling experience and just a perfect, memorable time!!! Absolutely recommend!!!!! *wear the right clothes ok!* waterproof!! We went early October.

5 Stars, with 1 Exception We had a great time riding in the forest. So much fun! We would definitely do this again! The only drawback was that our ride was supposed to be 3 hours. However, our guide took us on a hike down to a river which took over an hour of our ride time. Though the waterfall was beautiful, I was not expecting a climb or a shortened ride. Other than that, it was a good time!read moreread less

Bob was so much fun as our tour guide. He was so funny and spoke to us as if he knew us. He included all of us in his tour and made sure to get to know us as well. He was great with taking pictures of us and a really cool video too. You can tell he loves his job! Awesome job Bob! Thank you for making our Alaska trip even more memorable!

Our guide Bob was a blast! Five stars for Bob. He was very patient and helpful teaching first timers how to ride ATV's (we are not). He took good pictures of us and even a video. He is very knowledgeable and a great guide. He spotted a black bear that was at least a mile away.We had a lot of fun. This would be a great trip for first time ATV riders. Only gave four stars because I believe the bird creek tour is a tad bit overpriced for what it is. The actual ride is really not that far and the waterfall is underwhelming. Just being honest.

Wonderful ATV Adventure We had a wonderful time on this tour. It was my first time on an ATV so I was a little nervous. Our Guide Bob showed me how to use the ATV and we had did a test drive around the parking lot. He had me and two other people who were first time riders up front behind him. The ride was fun! Bumpy, muddy, and wet. We were able to get up to speeds up to 20mph on the trail. The tour included a short hike to a waterfall that was beautiful. We also got a great view of turnagain arm. Bob did a great job of leading the tour and taking pictures and video of us. He searched the hills on his binoculars looking for bears. We didn't see any, but we saw mountain goats and salmon.
Advice- bring dry socks and new shoes. Our feet got wet, like soaked. I wore gloves for better gripping. Be on time. The email states you don't need to show up before 2pm, we ended being like 5 minutes late and everyone was already to go. So just a heads up!

Wow!! This ATV tour is super fun! I went on this tour last summer with the bf, my sister and her husband and we had a great time. Not one of us had gone ATVing before, but by the time we were done we were ready to do it again. We went on the 3 hour Girdwood tour, our guide was pretty cool, I feel bad that I don't remember his name, but he was knowledgeable and easy going.
We each had our own ATV and the first 20mins were spent learning the basics: how to change gears, break, turn etc. The trail was great: a good combination of long smooth stretches, almost vertical uphill climbs that you feel like your going to flip backwards, huge puddles, mud, rocks, twists and turns, and even narrow paths on the edge of a cliff. About halfway through the tour we took a hike to one of the waterfalls and stopped for a snack, which was provided, bonus! At that point we were feeling pretty confident in our new found ATVing skills so we pretty much floored it all the way back to the parking lot.
If you're thinking about going on a tour... go a head and book it! Trust me, it's worth every penny and more!! Next time I visit Alaska, I'm definitely doing another tour.
