4 star rating5 Stars, with 1 Exception We had a great time riding in the forest. So much fun! We would definitely do this again! The only drawback was that our ride was supposed to be 3 hours. However, our guide took us on a hike down to a river which took over an hour of our ride time. Though the waterfall was beautiful, I was not expecting a climb or a shortened ride. Other than that, it was a good time! …

One Wild Ride: Fishing Alaska By ATV To be honest, I wasn't exactly a quad loving guy before, and the thought of being in the "promised land\" with a bunch of newbie flyfishers didn't exactly have me enthralled...I was wrong...

5 star ratingAbsolutely The Best ATV Thrill Ride! This was by far the best ATV adventure We’ve ever had! Starting with Brad who picked us up at the hotel. He was VERY knowledgeable of the area so we felt as though we got a great mini sightseeing tour as a bonus while making our way to base camp to start the ATV ride! After gearing up and getting familiar with the ATVs, off we went! The trail was absolutely thrilling! Not for the faint of heart! We loved the stops along the way to see spawning salmon, waterfalls, mountains, fresh bear tracks and the relic old 1964 Ford Mustang (I may have the year wrong), that some hippies back in the day crashed and left on the woods. Maybe it was “4:20” at the joint…in the woods! Smile! We’ve taken ATV rides in Alaska before, and in the North Georgia mountains, Belize, and Dominican Republic when traveling on vacation. Alaska ATV Adventures was the BEST we’ve experienced! Highly recommend…but only if you think strongly that you can handle it. It’s thrilling! …

There was nothing about "ATV" that spoke to me, but I agreed to give it a go. Glad I did -- Bob was a great guide and I learned more about natural history of Alaska than I would expect to in a classroom or museum. The hike at the end of the trail was a total blast, too. Great job!

5 star ratingWould do this tour again We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide took plenty of time to make sure we were familiar with the vehicles and all those on our tour, which included a couple novices to the ATV, had a good time and no problems with the experience. We enjoyed the variety of terrain we encountered, which including driving through some large puddles.
We would have enjoyed an even longer trip, but other than that, can't think of anything we would change. More

5 star ratingYes, yes and YES….. We did this tour this morning as it was amazing and so much fun. Our tour guide Jake was awesome. He explained the quad, safety and terrain. He was also so patient with the lesser experienced riders. Be prepared to get wet. Tons of “puddles” and when I say puddles, I mean small lakes. With that being said, blasting through them was so much fun. It was sunny on our tour and warmed up pretty quick. Dress in layers and peel back when necessary. We stopped to check out a river and could see the silvers swimming as well as hiked down to a waterfall which was stunning. I highly recommend this tour. Even for someone with some riding experience, it was still fun. Thank you Jake for a great morning.
